Singalong: Thanksgiving

Singalong Plans:

Song: This is the Way...

Book/Song: One Little, Two Little, Three Little Pilgrims – B.G. Hennesey

Flannel/Song: Hurray, It's Thanksgiving Day

Book/Song: Over the River & Through the Woods - Child/Westcott (other nice editions available)

Songs: Gobble, Gobble --> 10 Little Turkeys (I do a sampling, not all of them)
Optional: Shakey Eggs to "I Know a Chicken" from Laurie Berkner album's "Whaddaya Think of That" and "The Best of the Laurie Berkner Band."

Prop/Song: I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie  based on the book by Alison Jackson (great song for helping kids work on their memory skills – try to have them remember the different foods in the countdown; can also use rhyming reminders (phonemic awareness) as clues.) (We use a cardboard old lady with a plastic see-through stomach panel and a cardboard box mounted behind for the food items.)
